Golden Berry Pancakes

From Scratch:

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

2 servings Drinkable Nano Curcumin+

3 ½ teaspoons baking powder

¼ teaspoon salt, or more to taste

1 tablespoon white sugar

1 ¼ cups milk

1 egg

3 tablespoons butter, melted

1 cup of blueberries

A handful of blackberries and/or strawberries

Syrup of choice

Using Pre-Made Mix (This is the Shudd Team’s usual MO!):

Pancake Mix of Choice (We like Trader Joe’s Buttermilk Protein Pancake Mix!)

1 cup of blueberries

A handful of blackberries and/or strawberries

Syrup of choice

INSTRUCTIONS

From Scratch:

In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, Curcumin, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth. Add in the blueberries and mix lightly.

Using Pre-Made Mix:

Follow the instructions on the box and simply add the Curcumin to form the batter. Once batter is formed, add in the blueberries and mix lightly.

Both Varieties:

Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot. Top with blackberries and/or strawberries and drizzle on your syrup of choice – we are usually classic Maple syrup fans but have been known to enjoy a hot drizzle of honey on occasion too!
